- We have shortlisted
two vessels, can we have them both evaluated ?
- Yes,
this is a good idea if you would like a verbal opinion as to suitability. This should
not be confused with a full purchase survey which is carried
out before you actually purchase a vessel.

- The vessel we
are considering is quite new, do we need a survey ?
- Yes,
even a new boat can have minor to very serious defects that can
affect the value and safety of the vessel. It is possible
for a vessel to sustain serious damage that may not be
apparent until a professional examines it.
- How detailed
are the reports ?
- This
will depend on which type of survey you have commissioned
and whether the vessels has been surveyed out of the water. We
carry out several types of surveys including Partial /
Insurance / Pre-purchase / Insurance damage and Valuation surveys.
