Helping you find the right vessel
To help you find a vessel worth having a
survey on we have provided a set of PDF
documents to aid you. Each document will
help you locate problems yourself. They
should not be used to carry out a full
survey as they will be lacking substantial
content, but they will help you "sort
the corn from the chaff ".
Cursory inspections at little cost
Once you have found a suitable vessel you
should contact us. We will help you decide
which type of survey is appropriate for your
situation. If we are working in the vicinity
of the vessel we can sometimes carry out a
cursory inspections at very little cost to
you

Some surveyors will have a
formula in order to calculate the
cost of a survey. With our extensive
experience we prefer to quote for
each vessel on a separate basis.
Survey costs vary according to to :
vessel type, location, hull
configuration, construction type and
material. There is no charge for a
quote and sometimes if we are
working close by we can have a
provisional look to see if it is
worth a survey at minimal costs.

pre-purchase surveys and contain a huge
amount of information, generally
for insurance, not quite so much
information is required, but bear in
mind the survey is carried for you, & as
such you dictate the extent of
information required. The extent of
the survey varies upon the client,
from simple moisture checks to full
structural with a proportionate pricing
scale.
